Green Masala

Ingredients: Utilise metric teaspoon for measuring

  • 125 grams Serrano Green Chillis
  • 30 grams Garlic
  • 30 grams Ginger
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Oil

Beans Subzi

  • 2 X Tins of 410 grams Beans in brine (Red Kidney/Pinto)
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • ½ Teaspoon Ajwin / Celery Seed
  • 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera (see the previous cook along)
  • 1 Stalk Curry Leaves
  • 1 X 410 grams Tinned Cubed Tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ Teaspoon Turmeric
  • ¼ Teaspoon Green Masala
  • ½ Teaspoon Jaggery or Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ½ Cup Water
  • Fresh  Chopped Cilantro for garnish
